Testimonials

“Doing my practicum at Family Connection was an incredible experience. I was able to practice the skills that I had acquired in English with Spanish-speaking clients. During supervision with Dr. Roller, I could process the sessions in the language I was providing services. I was lucky to work with adults, families, couples, and children while maintaining a flexible schedule so I could manage two sites simultaneously. This experience helped me gain trust in myself and my skills so I could continue working with the Latinx population and increase my cultural awareness and humility to be able to provide competent care to recent immigrants during a vulnerable time for them.”
